EndEx Pop Rocket MK2
Description:
This is a version of the EndEx Rocket that uses a 209 primer to create a report on impact. The internal components are encased in safe flexible urethane foam, which allows the round to be reused even on impact with hard surfaces at close distance.
Upgrades from MK1:
Durability: TPU offers a flexible and durable upgrade that doesn’t have the brittleness of ABS. Introducing a little bit of flex allows the rocket to take more beatings without cracking.
Safety: Reducing the chance of cracks also means safety is improved. TPU is less likely to tear and introduce sharp edges. We have also designed a new firing pin made completely of plastic, removing the metal pin from before.
Increased blast profile: The exhaust port’s conical shape provide an even louder report compared to the MK1.
Flight performance: Extending the internal structure all the way to the rear reduces energy lost to push deformation and increases accuracy.
Primer seating/extraction: Using a simpler locking-lug design makes reloading more intuitive. The increased contact area with the primer also improves durability.
Directions:
To load the rocket, rotate the rear chamber clockwise 90° and remove spent primer if necessary (use a small tool such as a screwdriver or allen key). Insert primer into the chamber (side with locking lugs). Insert chamber into rocket and rotate 90° counter-clockwise. See video below for demonstration.
The EndEx Pop Rocket is not designed to detonate on impact with soft surfaces such as dirt, leaves, etc. Sharp impact angles will also reduce the chance to detonate (glancing shots).
The lifespan of an individual round will depend on range and impact surface material/geometry. Closer ranges and sharp geometry will diminish the lifespan of the rocket.
Compatibility:
40mm TAGinn shells (green gas*, CO2, HPA)
*Green gas shells not recommended (not strong enough)
.209 or .209A primers
Weight:
~40 grams per rocket (with primer)
Material:
Polyurethane foam (body)
TPU (rifling collar and chamber)
delrin (firing pin)
NOT designed to be fired directly at people.
